ShellyKelly Human Version

And now for my most strangest idea yet, I present to you the twins, Shelly and Kelly!

What's that? you only see one person in the picture? Actually, that's where the strangeness comes into play X3 After the "I Am Me" art I wanted to see if I could create a character that follows my guidelines while following the headless setups I don't like. In the end I couldn't really think of one but I did think up an interesting loophole XD

So now for introductions, we have Shelly (the older sister by 10 seconds) who is the brains of the two and was born without a body. Then we have Kelly, the fun loving partying sister, who was born without a head, yet has her own personality and thoughts. At birth, it would be deemed easier if they were treated as one individual for paperwork and filing, so their legal name is ShellyKelly, even though everyone calls them by their individual name.

I'm sure many people have heard that twins can know what the other is thinking but these two take that ability to an entirely knew level. They can read each others' mind and communicate telepathically.

While they can't control each other directly, they do appear to have the ability to experience the senses of the other twin, but this ability is only strong when they are close together. While Kelly is holding her sister she can see through Shelly's eyes, hear what she hears and smell what she smells, but the farther apart they get the weaker this link gets. Often if Kelly accidentally drops her sister, Shelly will have to guide Kelly to retrieve her due to her not being able to see anymore.

Since they have had this setup since birth it feels normal to them and have managed to live normal lives together. However, due to their opposite personalities they tend to argue with each other over what they should do when, since Shelly usually wants to study while Kelly would rather watch tv or play video games. They do realize that they rely on each other to live a normal life though, so try their best to get along.

One ability they learned through trial and error is that if they put their minds in perfect sync and are in total agreement, Shelly can fuse the base of her neck to Kelly's shoulders and they can walk around looking like a totally normal person. In this state Shelly can stay on pretty solidly but a punch or well placed ball to the head could still dislodge her. Even more interesting, they can have one twin have complete control of the single entity while the other lies in a tranced state. While in this form, you can tell who is in control since Shelly has green eyes and Kelly has red eyes when she takes over. Unfortunately, since they argue all the time it's hard for them to stay connected normally or can't stay fused for long.

As a final note, I couldn't decide if I wanted her to be human or an anthro like my other characters, or even a human living in their world...so I created her in both forms XD Let me know which form you guys like her better in, this one or the one over here: [link]
